Whilst I primarily make jewellery, I also make a small range of decorative and ornamental items in silver, copper and gilding metal.
JEWELLERY
1. Silver Jewellery
I design and make my own range of jewellery using a variety of silver-smithing techniques to create differing textures and patterns on a wide range of silver pendants and earrings.
I also use silver in combination with beach glass, a "found" resource,' and other complementary materials.
The use of Precious Metal Clay to coat natural, real leaves brings them alive in silver earrings and pendants. This technique means each piece is unique and retains all the veining and characteristics of the leaf from which it was made.
I particularly specialise in making hand-forged large link silver chains. These can be made into earrings, bracelets, and necklaces to whatever length you want - they are priced by the inch.
2. Copper Jewellery
I use a variety of techniques to obtain a range of colours and textures on pieces of copper which are then made into both pendants and earrings.
I use copper in combination with sterling silver to create 2-coloured jewellery.
In addition, I make pendants of copper onto which pieces of silver are fused at high temperatures. This process allows me to create completely unique, unrepeatable pieces.
3. Beaded Jewellery
Necklaces, earrings, bracelets and pendants, are all made using high quality glass beads, either on their own or in combination with sterling silver chain or silver pieces.
DECORATIVE AND ORNAMENTAL ITEMS (e.g. SPOONS & BOWLS)
i make a small range of silver spoons (salt spoons, tea spoons and caddy spoons) as well as small silver dishes that can be used a pin trays or salt cellars (so long as the salt is removed after use), or simply as decorative objects in their own right.
All items are hall-marked as required.
I make small bowls/dishes from copper in the shape of leaves, using real leaves as the templates. The leaves used are Maple, American Oak, and English Oak.
