Welcome to my website!

Firstly a little bit about myself. After a 20+ year career in IT management, I made an important life-change a few years ago so that I could concentrate on a more creative career.

Over the years, I have studied jewellery making part-time at the Yorkshire Craft Centre, but I am primarily self taught. I have developed my own style and range of designs. The jewellery is, for the most part, made using sterling silver, copper, and quality glass beads. 

I have also attended intensive Silversmithing courses at West Dean College, West Sussex and am currently expanding my skills and knowledge in this area.

At this point I am meant to say something 'arty' about my sources of inspiration etc. That's the bit I find tricky as I'm really not sure where my ideas come from! But as I do quite a lot of walking in my local woods, in the Yorkshire Dales and along the coast, I'm sure that must have a significant influence. I also love the designs of the Art Nouveau movement and that certainly influences the design of my silver spoons. 

I sell my work at art galleries, retail fairs, markets and other events and well as via this website. You can see where I am exhibiting during the coming months by looking at the forthcoming events list.

I welcome taking on specific commissions within my existing ranges. I can also do jewellery parties for small gatherings, and these can be fitted in with themed events.
